What Day?

Matthew 24:36-41

36 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
(from New International Version)

Verse 36 is the standard by which to test messages from anyone claiming to know the day Jesus will return. No one knows the day or hour, not Jesus, not the angels, no man, only the Father knows. Any man that says he knows the day is putting himself higher than the angels and Jesus and equal to God. Do Not listen to him. Jesus tells us we will know the season, when the day is getting close, but not the day. People will be running to and fro, not looking for Jesus return. The will even be scoffing about the day. Verse 40 refers to the rapture of the Church. All of the sudden people will disappear off the face of the earth. There will be mass chaos when this happens. Abandoned cars, trucks, trains, and planes. This will provide a worldwide stage for the Anti-Christ to step in and "save" the world and he will attempt to provide peace through force.

Keep one eye on the sky, Jesus is coming soon.
